The Institute for Molecular Biology is seeking a Senior Scientist

Our vision for the Institute is a vibrant group of interacting researchers with overlapping interests in molecular, developmental and cell biology

For this position we aim to attract an experienced researcher with a specific focus on

‘Transcriptional control of mesendodermal cell specification’

 

Required Qualifications

o Doctoral or PhD degree in Biology and postdoctoral experience in molecular biology

o Research experience in molecular and developmental biology as documented by

§ Relevant publications in international peer-reviewed journals

§ Relevant presentations at international conferences/workshops

o Hands-on experience working with the model organism zebrafish o Scientific achievement beyond dissertation/PhD.

 

Desirable Qualifications

o Experience in soliciting external funding and conducting externally funded projects o Experience with omics approacheso Experience in planning and teaching courses in the field of molecular biology

 

The salary for this position is gross € 4,062 / month (14 times). In addition, the university offers numerous attractive additional benefits
