PhD position - Cardiac Development, Bloomekatz Lab, Department of Biology, University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS

Graduate student, PhD position - Cardiac Development

Graduate student positions available in the Bloomekatz lab. Our research seeks to understand the mechanisms underlying the regulation of morphogenetic and identity transformations that occur during cardiac development and disease. We take an interdisciplinary approach, combining the genetic and imaging strengths of zebrafish (including CRISPR/Cas9, forward screens and time-lapse experiments) with both biophysical and cell biological methodologies. New projects include biomechanics, glycosylation and disease modeling.
