Postdoctoral Position, Jung Lab, Department of Pharmacology and Regenerative Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago, Chicago, IL

Postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Hyun-Min Jung in the Department of Pharmacology and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago (http://mcph.uic.edu/jung/ ). Our lab focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of vascular development and function with a particular interest in investigating lymphatic vessels using zebrafish models and cell culture systems. We use an interdisciplinary approach that involves developmental biology, genetics/genomics, and molecular cell biology approaches to uncover key insights into lymphatic vessel formation and function. The projects the lab is currently focusing on are: 1) microRNA functions in lymphatic vessel development; 2) cell-cell crosstalk for lymphatic development; 3) endothelial response to interstitial tension; 4) new transgenic tool development.

Start Date: Positions are available now
