Postdoc Position, Jiandong Liu Lab, School of Medicine, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, NC

 

A full-time postdoc position is available in the Jiandong Liu lab in the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. We are looking for highly motivated candidates with solid backgrounds in genetics, molecular biology, and cell biology. A Ph.D. in Developmental Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a discipline related to the area of assignment is required. The applicant is expected to drive the research project. 

 

The primary focus of the Liu Lab is to study the basic molecular and cellular mechanisms of cardiac biology and disease, with a particular focus on cardiac regeneration and maturation. We employ a combination of state-of-the-art molecular and cellular techniques to complement genetic studies using zebrafish and mice as animal model systems.
