Are you passionate about cutting-edge research in stem cell biology and vascular development? The Ghersi Lab is looking for motivated and talented PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to join our dynamic team at the brand-new Sainte-Justine Research Center (https://recherche.chusj.org/en/Axes-de-recherche).

 

About Us:
The Ghersi Lab focuses on understanding the mechanisms of blood stem cell formation, utilizing zebrafish models. Our research aims to uncover fundamental biological processes with implications for regenerative medicine and cancer therapy.

 

Positions Available:

PhD Students:
Responsibilities: Conduct independent research, collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, and writing fellowship.
Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., developmental biology, genetics), and a keen interest in developmental and stem cell biology.

 

Postdoctoral Researchers:
Responsibilities: Lead research projects, mentor junior lab members, and contribute to grant writing and publications.
Requirements: PhD in a relevant field, demonstrated research excellence, and experience with molecular biology, stem cell biology. A plus if you have zebrafish experience.
