The Jeff Yoder lab (https://jeffyoderlab.wordpress.ncsu.edu/ ) at North Carolina State University (https://www.ncsu.edu/ ) is focused on immunogenomics and immunotoxicology. Comparative immunogenomics research explores the evolution of innate immune receptor gene families across all vertebrate lineages with an emphasis on ray finned fish. Immunotoxicology research utilizes zebrafish and human cell culture to investigate the functional impact of PFAS exposure on innate immunity.
We are recruiting for a cell and molecular biology Research Scholar who will perform a variety of complex and independent activities involving experimental design, and data collection, analysis, and documentation, and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the lab. Both zebrafish and cell culture models will be used.
