A laboratory/aquatics technician is sought for a zebrafish research laboratory at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) at the NIH.  The successful applicant will work with researchers in the laboratory of Dr. Brant Weinstein in the NICHD Division of Developmental Biology (DDB) in Bethesda, Maryland.  The Weinstein laboratory uses a variety of molecular, cellular, genetic, transgenic, microscopic imaging, and next-gen sequencing approaches to study the specification, patterning, and differentiation of developing blood and lymphatic vessels, the meninges and the neurovascular interface, and developmental epigenetics.  To learn more about the Weinstein laboratory see https://www.nichd.nih.gov/research/atNICHD/Investigators/weinstein  

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a B.S. in Biological Sciences and 3 years experience in a laboratory research environment including basic molecular biology tasks. Aquatic species experience in a research setting is desirable.
